We give our highest recommendation to Chicago Granite Counter Top, Inc. Our entire experience from beginning to end was professional, courteous and exemplary. We initially found them through their very informational website which answered all of our questions and after researching many companies decided to purchase our counter top from them. We could not be more delighted with our decision.

 Marta was the first person we dealt with personally. She explained everything to us in detail with professionalism and friendliness. She was very prompt and efficient setting up our appointments for selection as well as measuring and then installation. We were impressed with the effort that was made to accommodate our schedule in all appointment times. We exchanged many emails and phone calls and she was a pleasure to deal with every time. Her friendly, caring and professional demeanor was a definitely one of the deciding factors in our decision to purchase from Chicago Granite Counter Top, Inc.

The granite selection site visit was also a great experience for us. The people there were professional and accommodating as well. We went through our many different choices with the saleswoman who was very knowledgeable and helpful. We worked with her and left feeling very positive and satisfied with our granite choice.

The installers/measurers were fantastic. They were very knowledgable, professional and friendly as well. They were not only on time for the measuring and then the installation but they were very efficient and productive. They explained every step of the measuring and installation process, made wonderful suggestions and answered all of our questions. It is very obvious they are masters at what they do and their work speaks for itself with our beautiful, perfectly polished, perfectly cut and perfectly installed granite counter tops.

I was shopping for my kitchen counter (91 sq ft) granite from Home Depot to Kitchen show room. I found Chicago Granite Co., on Internet.  I looked at their website and saw comments by previous customers. I was impressed and I called Richard. He responded with all detailed quote for the job on the same day. I am a very detailed oriented person and I like perfection. Also, I would only work with somebody after talking to them face to face. I broke my rule and I knew Richard is right person for this work. Chris and his colleague came for measurement. It was so perfect that the countertop fitted like a glove. I only met Richard on first day of the work. Carlo and Jerry installed the countertop very nicely and made the joints so perfect that they are not noticeable.  Work was completed on time as promised without any problems. I have beautiful faucet and Ivan did a great job of installing the faucet and all other plumbing. This was a very pleasant experience for me. In short Richard and his team is great, very professional and keeping the promises they make and do an excellent job without hassle and make our dream come true.

says what they do and do what they say because of time constraints. When I
first contacted Richard at Chicago Granite Countertop he was upfront and
honest. I told him what I needed and he said he could do it. He arrived on time,
showed me my options and helped me choose the best countertop for my

We’d hoped to find a countertop contractor who would perform high quality work at an affordable price, do it on schedule and respond constructively to our inquiries.  Richard and Chicago Granite Countertop accomplished all of these things.  Richard responded quickly and clearly whenever we contacted him by telephone or exchanged email.   He invited us to select our specific granite slab from the warehouse, so we knew exactly what we were buying.  He or his associates showed up when they said they would, or called ahead to notify us if they were delayed.  Our countertops were installed on time and just as planned, and Richard personally reviewed the completed job with us.  His prices were very reasonable (we did a lot of comparison shopping) and he never attempted to sell any additional products or services.  It was a satisfying, hassle-free project.  We should mention that we did not approach CGC on personal recommendation.  Instead, we located this company with an internet search.  We proceeded carefully at each step, to make sure we were dealing with a reliable contractor.  We were.  We’re glad we discovered CGC.

Not only does the granite look fantastic, our experience with Chicago
Granite was very positive as well. We "shopped" around and received
price quotes from several other places. Chicago Granite proved to have
the most competitive price and the best customer service. Richard was
ALWAYS available to answer questions, even at 9pm on a Sunday night. He
was patient while we vacillated on an appropriate color and provided
insight when needed. The entire process from the initial estimate to
the final installation took two weeks.

I had my countertop installed Friday and it looks so beautiful. I just want to thank you very much for making my purchase with practically no stress. My wife and I are Real Estate investors and we have learned that there are 3 main aspects to consider when making a purchase for a house (1) Cost (2) Time and (3) Quality. The worst thing an investor can do is to compromise one aspect for another:

(1) Cost - We shopped around for a granite countertop from all of the major stores with exactly the same cut and similar color. The prices ranged from $3,750 up to $4,500. then I searched the Internet and found Chicago Granite Countertop. It was very easy to submit for a quote: fill in a form-fax drawing with measurement and 24 hours later, BAM! - the quote arrives and I was shocked at the quote, significantly lower than all my other quotes. I was very skeptical at this time because I was ripped off before but you convince me not to worry. Your professionalism and character calmed me down enough to trust you and risk the deposit.

(2) Time - As an investor, Timing is very important. All other sources gave me at least 2 months for final installation. Chicago Granite Countertop informed me that it would take 10 days upon receipt of deposit. Final installation was in 7 days.

(3) Quality - The two installers were very friendly and 30 minutes before the scheduled time. I'm used to having subcontractors being late but NEVER earlier or on time. A BIG PLUS!  Also, one of the installers took time to explain how to care for the countertop in the future.

I am planning to use Chicago Granite Countertop for all my future investment properties and and even for my own house. I have recommended your company to all my friends and co-workers.

Note: Due to my busy schedule, I usually don't respond to requests or surveys but I have had such a positive experience with your company that I took time out to write a response. Keep up the good work.
